Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, iOS & Xbox One) impresses with its cool and quirky skins. Every day there are new offers and regularly special outfits and emotes come into the game. Find out here what’s currently new in the shop!
Unlike the PvE version, Fortnite: Battle Royale is completely free to play. The developers at Epic only earn from the game when you spend on microtransactions like the Battle Pass or for new skins, emotes, pickaxes, or gliders. These are cosmetic only and provide no inherent gameplay advantages.
To keep making good profits, the developers release new skins every week. This time it’s going to be Celtic!
Highland Warrior as a new skin
Today, on March 23, 2018, Epic has released a very special batch of skins. The highlight is the brand new “Highland Warrior”. This outfit has not been in Fortnite: Battle Royale before. It features a blonde fighter with big green eyes and a stylish armor.
On her back, the warrior carries a martial “Blade Shield”. You can also remove the shield and attach it to other skins. Or you can wear a different back piece with the warrior if you prefer an astronaut backpack or a pack of bombs.
The Highland Warrior is an epic skin and costs 1,500 V-Bucks (about 15 Euros).
Storm Glider, Color Bomber and Electro Shuffle in the shop
Along with the Highland Warrior, there’s a matching glider: the Storm Glider. This glider also features a Celtic motif and is embroidered with intertwining shapes. It costs 500 V-Bucks (5 Euros).
Both the Storm Glider and the Warrior will remain in the shop for 2 days for now. When they will return afterwards is uncertain. The skins belong to the new set “Laoch”, like the Battle Hound and its harvesting tool.
In addition to the Warrior and the Storm Glider, there’s a cool selection of classics in the shop:
- Dance Emote “Electro Shuffle”: A quirky epic dance for 800 V-Bucks (8 Euros).
- Emote “Dab”: The legendary dab move costs you 500 V-Bucks (5 Euros).
- Glider “Excursion”: This playful glider looks like a picnic blanket and costs 500 V-Bucks (5 Euros).
- Harvesting Tool “Icebreaker”: A shovel with sawtooth edges that is part of the set “Arctic Operations”. It costs 500 V-Bucks (5 Euros).
- Outfit “Color Bomber”: One of the most popular outfits in the game is the Color Bomber, a red-haired soldier with colorful clothes. It costs 1,200 V-Bucks (12 Euros) and belongs to the set “Sunshine and Rainbows”.
- Outfit “Snorkel Ops”: A soldier with goggles and snorkel for 1,200 V-Bucks (12 Euros).
