My MMO asks: Will you play Mass Effect: Andromeda?

A RPG blockbuster is still to come this winter – Mass Effect: Andromeda. We want to know from you if you will be playing it and what you are looking forward to.

The past weeks have been full of major game releases, but for the RPG fans out there, the end of March is marked thick on the calendar. Because on March 23, 2017, Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released in Europe, allowing players to dive into the SciFi universe of BioWare for the fourth time. Although Andromeda takes place in the same universe as the first three games, the story is somewhat detached. While the legendary Commander Shepard and their deeds have been heard of, the hero/heroine from the first games (depending on player choice) will not be playable.

Instead, players will explore a new galaxy in Andromeda to find humanity a new home. As the trailers have revealed, you will encounter many familiar alien races (like the Asari and Krogan), but also some newcomers. It’s a fresh start in an otherwise “overused” universe.

Our question is: Will you be playing Mass Effect: Andromeda? And if so – will you also be playing the multiplayer mode intensively? Should we report more about it? Let us know in the comments!

In this context: Is Mass Effect: Andromeda just a “softcore space porn”?

Cortyn says: When Andromeda was announced, I was hardly interested. For me, Mass Effect ended with the closing sequence of the third game (which I still think was really good). But the closer Andromeda gets, the more I feel the urge to pre-order the game to play it as soon as possible on release day. Only a few game universes have hooked me as much as Mass Effect. But I am also looking forward to the multiplayer because I have spent countless hours in the third game kicking Reapers, Geth, and Collectors in the alien behind and raining down biotic explosions. It will surely be several hundred hours that will keep me from all other games.

But now let’s get to you! Have you pre-ordered Mass Effect? Is your vacation requested, or has your sick leave already been “planned”? And are you playing only the campaign, or are you looking forward to many hours of action with your friends in multiplayer?
