Revelation Online – Soft Launch into Release Version
On March 6, the colorful and fast-paced online role-playing game Revelation Online enters open beta. Owners of founder packages are already in early access since February 27 and experiencing adventures in the Asian world of Nuanor. The open beta serves as a soft launch, as there will be no wipe until the release of the final version.
Revelation Online – Cannon Fodder and Sexy Sword Magician
The open beta includes the already known heroes from the closed beta, including the sniper who handles guns and rifles, the scythe-wielding supporter “Occultist”, and the sexy DPS class “Sword Magician”.
There is also the regular swordsman, an adorable summoner healer class, and the tanky Vanguard, who was the least popular among players in the closed beta.
Action and Story
With your chosen hero, whom you can customize to your liking, you dive into a massive open world packed with challenges. In addition to small instances, dungeons, and massive raids with up to 20 participants, Revelation Online also offers numerous story missions that tell a grand narrative.
The combat system is fast-paced and action-packed. However, at the beginning of the game, you can choose how you want to play Revelation Online. You can choose between tab targeting like World of Warcraft, simple clicking like in Diablo, and a dynamic system like in TERA. Depending on your class and play style, you can change the controls at any time.
Sieges in the Air
A special feature of Revelation Online is your powerful wings. Like in the MMORPG classic Aion, your heroes are equipped with wings that allow you to glide freely through the air. Unlike in Aion, this can be done anywhere and for an unlimited time. So you won’t suddenly crash!
Also cool: one of the many PvP modes revolves around fast aerial battles between guilds. In this mode, you capture flying castles for which you need particularly strong wings. Only the best wings have enough power for strong aerial combat maneuvers.
