The first update for Monster Hunter World unlocks a few important features directly. These include multiplayer, event quests, and all online systems such as the chat function. Additional content will be unlocked in the Hunters’ Guild through the room service.
There will be a gallery where players can rewatch all cutscenes. It is required that they have already unlocked these by progressing in the story. The appearance of the character depends on how the hunter looked when the scene was recorded.

Even more languages will be added. Currently, the languages available are Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. The European version will be expanded to include Brazilian, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, and Arabic.
