In Monster Hunter World the event has started where you can craft the Mega Man armor for your Palico. Find out here how to get the armor, what stats it has, and what makes it special.
The small blue battle robot Mega Man is an absolute gaming icon and, like Monster Hunter World, belongs to the Capcom family. With an event quest, you can now forge an armor that makes your Palico look like Mega Man. The armor is presented in a pixelated style and is reminiscent of the Mega Man from the 80s.
The Mega Man quest will end on April 27th.
Event quest “Rush’s Bloodlust” gives Mega Man tickets
Today, on April 13th, the event quest “Rush’s Bloodlust” has started and is part of the large Spring Bloom Event, which is currently taking place in Astera.
Conditions of the Mega Man quest:
- Difficulty: 7 stars
- Objective: Hunt two Odogaron
- Location: Arena
- Hunter Rank: 13 or higher – How to increase your Hunter Rank
- Failure conditions: Time run out (50 min.) or knocked out 3 times
If you successfully complete the quest, you will receive Mega Man tickets. Once you have obtained the first one, you will see the armor in the forge. The number of tickets you receive for the quest is random. Overall, you need 5 Mega Man tickets to be able to craft the armor and the corresponding weapon. Three tickets are for the armor and 2 tickets for the weapon. You do not need any other materials.

- Against Fire: 6
- Against Water: 6
- Against Thunder: 6
- Against Ice: 6
- Against Dragon: 6

- Rarity: 6

Guaranteed golden crown for the smallest Odogaron!
The quest “Rush’s Bloodlust” also contains a tiny Odogaron, which guarantees you a small golden crown. To prepare for the quest, here is a quick description of the bloodthirsty monster with its weaknesses.
Tip against Odogaron’s bleeding: The claws of the Odogaron cause severe bleeding and should be avoided at all costs. If the claws do manage to hit you and cause bleeding, you can stop it with two simple actions. You can recover from bleeding by crouching for a short time or consuming food like a grilled steak.

Chiptune music changes with each equipped weapon!
The coolest feature of the Mega Man armor is the changing chiptune music. The armor is equipped with various soundtracks from the Mega Man series. Depending on which weapon you have equipped, the music changes.
If you turn on your sound, you can listen to the music in the tweet below from Capcom. However, you will only hear the music in the event quest itself, which is a bit unfortunate.
