Capcom introduced a PS4 Pro Edition styled after Monster Hunter World that is available in limited quantities. It was previously unknown whether the PS4 Pro with the head of Rathalos would also come to Europe. It has now been confirmed that it will be released in Europe and thus also likely in Germany.
The European PlayStation Blog announces that the limited Rathalos PS4 Pro Edition is making its way to Europe. The edition features the special design of the PS4 Pro and the DualShock 4 V2 controller. The bundle also includes the game itself, as well as codes for the Origin Set armor and the Talisman of the Fifth. At MediaMarkt, you can now pre-order a PS4 Pro in the Monster Hunter World Limited Edition:

In Europe, the PS4 Pro is sold under the name “Limited Edition,” while in Japan, it is known as the “Rathalos Edition.” However, it is the same model.
This is the special PS4 Pro for Monster Hunter World
This is what the limited PS4 Pro Rathalos Edition has to offer:
- 1 Terabyte of storage on the hard drive
- A physical standard copy of Monster Hunter World
- A DualShock 4 controller, also in the “Monster Hunter World” design
- Additionally, the bundle contains codes for the Origin Set armor and the Talisman of the Fifth
The Rathalos console is releasing alongside Monster Hunter World
The special Rathalos PS4 Pro will be released together with Monster Hunter World on January 26. The action RPG will also come to Xbox One. PC players will have to wait until the autumn.
In Japan, the special “Monster Hunter” controller will be offered independently of the console bundle. It is not yet known whether this will also be the case for Europe.
