Monster Hunter World will be the next main installment in the series
There were concerns and rumors among fans that Monster Hunter World would only be a side product of the series. However, Capcom has since confirmed that it will be a main installment. The working title of Monster Hunter World was even referred to internally at Capcom as “Monster Hunter 5.”
The same team that worked on “Monster Hunter 4” and “Monster Hunter Ultimate” is now working on Monster Hunter World. The title will be released in early 2018 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, making the series mainstream for the first time
Hunter-Styles and Hunter-Arts will disappear in Monster Hunter World
“Monster Hunter Generations” is the last title in the series that was released in Europe. It introduced the Hunter-Styles and Hunter-Arts, which are various move sets and particularly impressive attacks that hunters could learn. These will disappear with Monster Hunter World.
Instead, there will be other gameplay innovations, such as Drop In/Drop Out coop, grappling hooks, and more open areas.

Tomorrow, on June 20, there will be a live stream from Japan at 12:00 PM that aims to show more of the gameplay from Monster Hunter World.
Will the gameplay stream feature the recently leaked material?
