The first major title update of Monster Hunter Wilds has just gone live a few hours ago, and now the servers are down. What this means for you and when it will be back up, you will find out here.
What is the problem? To play Monster Hunter Wilds in multiplayer and use the online features, you need a connection to the servers. Unfortunately, the servers are currently unreachable and players are encountering the error message “EW_30D43”.
Therefore, you can only play in offline single-player mode now. We will keep you updated on when you can play online with other hunters.

The server maintenance has officially been lifted, as stated in the post via x.com:
“The previously reported online connection issues and game outages in Monster Hunter Wilds have now been resolved on all platforms. Thank you for your patience!”
So we will temporarily sign off from the ticker and wish you happy hunting!

Still no official announcement. However, many players seem to no longer have connection issues. If you can’t get in, just try again after some time.

For many players, the servers seem to be reachable again. Some are hanging out in the lobbies once more. An official announcement is still pending, so the connection could drop at any time.

The servers seem to be online again for the time being. There is still no official announcement about it, but we were able to sporadically join an online lobby again. We will keep you posted to see if this holds stable.

Now there has been a report from Capcom about the server down via x.com. It states:
“We are aware of issues with online connectivity in Monster Hunter Wilds across all platforms. We are investigating the cause and working to restore normal functionality.”
The team is working to restore the connection as quickly as possible. We will stay on top of it for you and report back as soon as there is something new.

So far, there are no reports regarding the server down from Capcom. However, it seems likely that this could be a spontaneous hotfix. We will keep you updated.

The servers for Monster Hunter Wilds are currently unreachable for unknown reasons. Therefore, you cannot use the online functions and must resort to the offline mode. We will report back to you in about 15 minutes – if there are any news in the meantime, we will update sooner.
