MeinMMO shows you where you can find Dragonite ore in Monster Hunter Wild and where there are good locations for the ore.
Dragonite is a material that you will particularly need later for upgrading your equipment. The advantage is that you can already gather the ore relatively early.

Monster Hunter Wilds: Finding Dragonite and Best Locations
Where can you find Dragonite? You can find Dragonite in the Oilwell Basin. You will also find Dragonite in the Iceshard Cliffs and the ruins of Wyveria. However, the Oilwell Basin is the most worthwhile as you can find relatively many mining nodes in one place, keeping the paths relatively short.
In addition to resource nodes, there are also optional quests that provide you with Dragonite as a “Target Reward”.
The best locations:
- (Oilwell Basin) Location 4: Directly to the west and north of the number, you will find resources.
- (Oilwell Basin) Location 6: Here you will also find two resource nodes located directly at the point.
- (Oilwell Basin) Location 7: Another resource node directly at the location.
- (Oilwell Basin) Location 13: Here you will find 4 resource nodes: Three directly east along the map edge and another one if you continue east down the narrow passage.
- (Iceshard Cliffs) Location 16: Here you will find 5 resource nodes: 3 directly around the number 16, two more a bit to the east in the small area.
Once you have mined the resources, the nodes take 15 minutes before you can mine them again.
