The first expansion of Monster Hunter Online expands the game with 8 new creatures and plenty of weapons.
The Elder Dragon masters all elements
As the developers from Tencent have announced, Monster Hunter Online will receive its first major update tomorrow, on April 26, 2016. Particularly powerful is said to be the “Elder Dragon,” which has settled in the game’s volcanic region and can use all 5 elements simultaneously. This makes it an opponent that is difficult to counter and will likely consume a lot of healing potions.
For the distant future of the game, 8 additional monsters are already planned. There is no concrete date for this yet, but they would like to announce it “soon.” At least on the test server, some of the specimens could already be sighted, but it’s best to check out the pictures yourself (click to enlarge).
New monsters naturally come with new loot and thus better equipment that can be crafted from the remains of the creatures.
There are no new updates for western fans. Whether the game will ever come to Europe remains unclear (and is quite well hidden in the stars).
