Chronicles of Elyria
The promising MMORPG aims to elevate the genre to the next level. You live a life in a fantasy world and guide your character into old age. If he dies, you create a successor who inherits some of the characteristics of his predecessor. Chronicles of Elyria aims to provide a sandbox experience where everyone can realize their dreams. The goals are ambitious, and development is still in its early stages.
The subscription works a bit differently than what you are used to. Here, you do not pay a monthly fee but need to acquire a new life spark whenever your character dies. This is typically required every eight to fourteen months, depending on how quickly your hero meets his end. So you effectively purchase a “new life” and additional playtime.
