Until the end of August, you can get the quest packs for free in the MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online (LotRO) with a code, for which you would otherwise need to pay around 200 Euros in total.
What exactly do you get for free? Although the MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online has a free-to-play version, it has some limitations. Recently, a free promotion started, which has now been extended. By entering a code, you will receive the previously paid quest packs, which have a total value of around 200 Euros, for free. However, only until the end of August.

What is not included? You still need to purchase the large expansions of the MMORPG LotRO separately. However, there’s good news here as well. The developers plan a discount promotion, where you can buy the add-ons for only 99 points each. This is roughly equivalent to about 60 cents. You can then get these expansions cheaply:

However, it is currently not yet clear when the promotion will start. The developers only said “in the near future”.

What about VIP accounts? If you have a VIP account for The Lord of the Rings Online, you automatically receive the quest packs and also enjoy a new vendor who offers you the following advantages once a day:
- 48-hour items for city services
- a buff that negates item wear
- a buff that allows for quick crafting
What happens after August 31? After the end of the promotion, the quest packs will be offered again at their regular price. So you should hurry if you want them for free. This is a good opportunity to get into the MMORPG LotRO, as the developers still have big plans for the game.
