NCSoft has released two gameplay videos for the MMORPG Lineage 2M. The material looks really good. Over two million players have already registered for the title.
What does NCSoft show? In two videos, we get to see gameplay of the mobile MMORPG Lineage 2M. Among them is a funny dance of a group of players in in-game graphics.
There’s also a scene where a character runs through the world. Along with landscapes and a powerful dragon. All of this looks quite impressive.
A very pretty mobile game
What does Lineage 2M look like? Graphically, the MMORPG is absolutely convincing. The characters look detailed, the effects are impressive, and the landscapes invite exploration.
Lineage 2M does not give the impression of a mobile game, but rather looks like a PC MMORPG. No wonder, as the developers have big plans for the game.
For instance, 4K graphics are planned, and it is set to become a cross-platform game. You can then play Lineage 2M on PC through the Purple emulator, and then the graphics must impress even more. Therefore, the MMORPG is actually not a classic mobile game, but rather a cross-platform game.
NCSoft even claims that there will be no game in the coming years that can compete with Lineage 2M.
Great interest and high expectations
When does Lineage 2M start? The mobile game is set to be released in Korea later this year. When we will also get to enjoy it is still unknown.
What do players think about the MMORPG? According to NCSoft, over 2 million players have already registered for the mobile game. So the interest is apparently very high.
The predecessor Lineage M is also extremely successful. According to the company’s financial report from Q3 2017, Lineage M exceeded all expectations and increased mobile revenues by 488% compared to the previous quarter.
It is quite conceivable that Lineage 2M will also become such a success. At the very least, the expectations for the game are likely to be correspondingly high, especially since the PC MMORPG market is not as strong anymore, as can also be seen from the demise of Wildstar.
By the way, Lineage 2M should not be confused with the mobile game Lineage 2 Revolution. Both titles are said to differ greatly in terms of gameplay.
