The MMORPG Identity received a patch that now allows your character to consume drugs and alcohol.
However, you shouldn’t expect many effects yet, as the game is not advanced enough for this.
Drugs in the Game
What is in the game? The following “substances” were added with the update:
- Alcohol that you can order in the bar
- Marijuana
- Heroin
You can buy drugs from the dealer in the city of the game.
What effects do the substances have? The MMORPG is not very advanced yet, which is why the effects are still limited at the moment.
- If you drink too much alcohol, you won’t be able to walk safely
- Marijuana affects your pupils, and you get bloodshot eyes
Later, drugs and alcohol are supposed to affect your stats, both positively and negatively.
A Small Update
What else does the update bring? Some additional features have been added with the patch. These include:
- You can choose from more karaoke songs in the bar
- The volume of the songs has been reduced so that you can better perceive your surroundings
- A bug has been fixed that would make you suddenly stuck in the “squat” animation
- The preview of items in shops and in your inventory has been revised
Why are there drugs in the game? The MMORPG Identity is making small but steady steps. At some point, it is supposed to become a sort of Second Life with a focus on cops and robbers gameplay. Drugs are therefore “important” for the game, as it will later be possible for you to become a drug lord if you wish. Or you can hunt drug dealers as a cop.
