The fantasy MMORPG Black Desert will first come to Xbox One. The release date is now at least roughly known.
As announced at the Microsoft press conference, the MMORPG Black Desert will debut on Xbox One.

This is expected to happen in early 2018. Then the release date for Black Desert should be announced. The title is expected to be “Console Launch Exclusive”.
It will probably come to PS4 later.

It has been known for some time that the graphically extraordinary MMORPG Black Desert is making a port to PS4 and Xbox One. However, no details were known until today. Apparently, they were saving this for today.
Black Desert: Looks great, great combat system – weaknesses in the story
Black Desert not only looks really good, but also has an excellent combat system and an outstanding movement system. You run, sprint, and climb in a “parkour-style” through the beautifully drawn world.
Black Desert also has inner values. The way you interact with the world is excellent: Crafting, housing, and trading play a significant role.
However, fans of story and quests should not expect too much from the MMORPG – the quests are mainly designed to familiarize players with the gameplay mechanics. Leveling works through grinding or by engaging in trading and crafting items.

Black Desert is still a relatively “young MMORPG” – currently, Pearl Abyss is developing further classes and PvE content in Korea. Black Desert still lacks those. A port to PlayStation 4 could open up entirely new possibilities and player bases for the MMORPG.
With the great combat system and probably the best graphics in the genre, the Xbox One has an excellent newcomer in the MMORPG sector, which should compete with the existing giant The Elder Scrolls Online.
Black Desert relies on a Buy2Play system. The game must be purchased, while additional game content is free. So far, some updates have been released that could very well qualify as DLCs. Costumes can be purchased in a cash shop.
