The new action-adventure Minecraft Dungeons comes from the creators of Minecraft at Mojang. What’s in store for this co-op game?
What is Minecraft Dungeons? The game was inspired by other dungeon crawlers. You explore areas there, take down monsters, and upgrade your characters.
Collect new weapons to take out the nasty enemies.
You can play Minecraft Dungeons either solo or with up to 4 players together. The levels are said to vary greatly and offer hidden treasures.
Gameplay trailer for Minecraft Dungeons: In the new trailer, you can catch a first look at the game. Viewers quickly commented in the chat of the press conference that it is comparable to Diablo.
The view, the map display, and the constant upgrading of characters through new items strongly resemble the gameplay of classic hack and slashes.
The gear: Your character has weapon slots and also slots for armor. It seems that the weapons and items have different rarity levels, which make these items stronger or weaker.
Weapons have the values strength, speed, and area damage. Weapons have special properties that allow you to perform powerful attacks. The developers say there are dozens of weapons and enchantments in the game that unlock special attacks.
How is it played? You can customize your characters. Whether it’s melee or ranged combat is in your hands. If you want, you can also take on the role of a tank.
When is the game released? Minecraft Dungeons will be released in Spring 2020. Co-op works online and locally. It will be played on Windows PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
