New examples are provided on how far players can take their trash talk.
Often, one hears about toxic players in online games who insult their teammates. The new guidelines on Xbox now specify what type of “insults” is still acceptable.
Thanks to the recognition feature, Overwatch is now less toxic.
Microsoft gives examples: To clarify the guidelines, Microsoft even provides examples of what constitutes acceptable trash talk and what should be avoided.
Examples of accepted insults include:

- You really had potato aim.
- The only reason you left this game with a positive record is that you camped the whole time. Try again, kid.
- That was a cheap win. Try again when you can drive without your car spinning out.
- That was terrible. Get better and try again when your K/D is above 1.

Trash talk of the following type is not accepted:
- Get
