With MeinMMO, we reach millions of people every month who share our passion for gaming. Here you will find articles and videos with stories, guides, opinions, recommendations, or interviews.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for freelance authors who can report daily on exciting trailers and enjoy sharing their knowledge in the field of gaming. Here’s what you should bring:
- a sense for exciting stories
- a great passion for gaming and everything around it
- you use social platforms like Twitter, Reddit, and TikTok
- you have an interest in new trailers and follow game releases
- you enjoy writing
This is a plus, but not a must: You have experience in video production and can independently implement short video news as a short format (For example: “Dark horror shooter becomes bitter comedy due to unfair bug“). Or you have experience in the media sector. This can include: your own blog, work for another website, your own channel on Twitch, TikTok or YouTube.
What is it about?
Are you constantly busy with games? Do you anxiously follow events like the Summer Game Fest to see what you will play next? Are you on Reddit, Discord, or Twitter to read discussions and information about games? Do you want to work in a modern online editorial office?
Then working at MeinMMO is made for you!
We are looking for authors who can cover the following topics daily:
- latest trailer news
- exciting trailer lists, such as “5 official videos of League of Legends that have been viewed over 1.7 billion times”
- reports on older trailers, such as “A bombastic video of LoL shows how huge the game is” or “5-year-old gaming trailer still excites today”
How do we work?
The working method: You independently search for exciting trailer stories in gaming communities and on the official channels of publishers. Together with the editorial team, you plan the topics you report on. You report on trailers that fit MeinMMO and our community.
The hours: We are looking for authors who can work at least 20 hours a week for us. More hours are optional.
The payment: The fee is calculated on an hourly basis in the news room, not per article or based on character count.
