We are currently looking for reinforcement in our team. You can now apply for a position at MeinMMO to write news, analysis, and specials independently from home office. The topic is FIFA / EA Sports FC.
Who we are looking for: You should be well-versed in gaming, with a focus on FIFA games and the upcoming EA Sports FC.
But you should also be interested in trends in the gaming industry in general, feel comfortable in gaming communities, and be willing to immerse yourself in new topics regarding EA Sports FC.
This is what we are looking for:
- You always know what the FIFA bubble on Twitter, Twitch, and reddit is currently talking about.
- You are good at explaining things to others. You know which cards dominate in FUT, how to curl free kicks perfectly into the top corner, or how every corner can be dangerous.
- You are interested in what particularly moves the German community. You know who the biggest German streamers and YouTubers in the FIFA / EA Sports FC area are.
- You are familiar with reddit, Twitter, different forums, and resetera to inform yourself and hear what the community is concerned about.
- It is an advantage if you already have experience: your own blog, your own streaming channel, or working for another website could fall under this. However, this is not a must for the position.
- You enjoy writing and have an interest in journalistic work.
- You are curious and open-minded towards new topics around FIFA / EA Sports FC.
We would like to fill the position as quickly and well as possible. Perhaps with you.
Attention: This position is intended for self-employed workers. It is not a permanent position.
This is the job
You will be part of our editorial team and help shape our coverage of FIFA / EA Sports FC.
We are grateful for suggestions and input on how we can improve this further. It is important to us that the readers come first for you, and you consider which articles are truly interesting and important for our readers.
The scope of work:
- You will write articles about FIFA / EA Sports FC: news, lists, analyses, opinions, community interviews, and guides.
- You will independently search for exciting topics that you implement as articles. Here you will receive support from the editorial team.
- You will deal with analysis tools like Google Trends to see what the community is currently really interested in.
- You will coordinate with the editorial team on which articles will be written.
- You will take on assignments from the editorial team on the topic of FIFA / EA Sports FC.
- You can optionally participate in workshops that we offer in the field of online and gaming journalism.
