This is a plus, but not a must: You already have experience in video production. This can include: a personal TikTok channel, a personal YouTube channel, or production for another YouTuber, a personal channel on Twitch.

What is it about?

Are you constantly engaged with games? Do you follow exciting stories from gaming communities? Do you always know what’s trending in gaming, Twitch, and YouTube right now? Are you creative and enjoy experimenting with new video formats? Do you want to work in a modern online editorial team?

How do we work?

The working method: You independently research exciting stories in gaming communities and on the official channels of publishers. Together with the editorial team, you discuss which of the existing MeinMMO news would be interesting as a video. You gather feedback from other producers and plan the content for the week. You create videos that fit MeinMMO and our community.

The hours: At least 20 hours a week, with flexible working hours. More hours are possible, but not fewer.

The payment: The payment will be negotiated in a personal conversation. It depends on your level of experience and expectations.

What do we offer?

  • Access to a successful gaming editorial team
  • Practical experience and training in game journalism
  • Practical experience in video production and content creation
  • Practical experience with Adobe programs
  • Access to editorial tools comfortably from home
  • An environment that shares a passion for gaming
  • Much variety, as every topic brings something new
  • Connection to the Webedia network, which includes GameStar, GamePro, MeinMMO, Moviepilot, and Filmstarts among others.

Does all of this sound exciting to you? If we have piqued your interest and you want to produce videos for MeinMMO, please send us your application with the following content:

  • Who you are: A short cover letter with your resume
  • Where you are knowledgeable: List of your topic focuses (What games do you play? On what platforms are you active? What genres do you particularly enjoy?)
