A Twitch streamer is particularly impressed by the new hero shooter Marvel Rivals. So much so that he is now considering putting together a professional e-sports team.
Who is it about? This is about the Twitch streamer Michael “shroud” Grzesiek. He is a former professional CS:GO e-sport player and started streaming on Twitch during his career.
In 2016, he and his team took first place in the ESL Pro League Season 4. In 2018, he participated in the PUBG August Twitch Rival and secured second place there.
In the meantime, he has ended his time as a professional e-sport player and is now only active as a content creator on Twitch and YouTube. There, he uses his reach for charitable purposes, among other things: Twitch: Shooter legend shroud plays for a good cause, donating money for each kill

“The game could be just right”
shroud is enthusiastic about Marvel Rivals. He recently showed this in one of his streams when he reacted to a Twitch stream by xQc, who was playing the game.
He considered setting a donation goal, and if a certain amount was reached, he could assemble an e-sports team. Possibly even an organization. He said (via X): “The game could be just right” and later added: “Maybe I’ll play it for the rest of my life”.
Recently, he participated in a tournament for Marvel Rivals as part of Twitch Rivals. Twitch streamer Valkyrae, however, did not have fun.
How does the community react? Most comments under the X post are skeptical:
- Dylanz1369 thinks (via X): “In three months, he won’t be playing this game anymore”
- Teddyschott1 writes (via X): “By the way, he said the same about Deadlock.”
- ShinCapet also thinks (via X): “shroud says that about every new shooter that comes out.”
Whether shroud will follow through on his announcement remains to be seen. He could, however, raise the financial resources, and he already has the expertise as a former e-sport player.
The question would then be whether he would also play or just be the head of a team. In any case, he could use his experience to invest it into building a team.
