Master X Master is releasing today. Here is the download link for the coop shooter that aims to please both MOBA and PvE fans. The game is free to play.
Master X Master is, at first glance, a MOBA in the style of Heroes of the Storm, but with NCSoft characters instead of Blizzard ones. However, at its core, the game is a coop PvE shooter with additional PvP modes for every taste.
Meanwhile, the colorful genre mix Master X Master has been released, and we were on site in London to attend the pre-launch event.

Master X Master was officially released on June 21, 2017, after many alpha and beta phases as a free-to-play game.

In the game, there is an item shop for things like costumes, but you can unlock all the individual playable heroes.
The hero selection currently includes 37 characters. Most of them are original creations, but a handful comes from other NCSoft games, for example, Rytlock from Guild Wars 2 or Jinsoyun from Blade & Soul.
You select not one hero, but two. You then switch the active hero at the push of a button and can execute cool combos by enhancing a tank with a strong support ability from another hero.

Depending on your taste, you fight with your hero duo in a 3vs3 deathmatch or in the 5vs5 MOBA against other players. If you don’t feel like PvP, you can optionally team up with up to two friends and shoot your way through exciting instances in coop, where bosses and loot await at the end.
For short breaks, there are also minigames to entertain you in a fun way. You have to dodge electric shocks or collect candies in an arena. No matter how you play Master X Master, there’s something for everyone’s taste. And thanks to the double heroes, there is much more variety in tactics in the game.
