The action MMO Marvel Heroes is coming to PS4 soon, but the PC version won’t be forgotten either. The developers at Gazillion have presented an extensive roadmap for 2017.
Currently, news about Marvel Heroes mostly concerns the upcoming console version Marvel Heroes Omega. As a PC player of the superhero action MMO, one might feel a bit neglected. Will there only be content for the Playstation 4 in the end, and none for the good old PC?
By no means, as Gazillion Entertainment has a whole bunch of content for 2017 that they recently presented in a roadmap.
Marvel Heroes – Roadmap 2017 – Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Thor Odinson
New content related to Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will arrive in May, but the rest of the year also offers new goodies every month. The planned content for 2017 includes:
- May: Costumes for Star Lord and the cool raccoon Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Gamora and Drax will be available as team-ups, and a Groot pet will also be included.
- June: Gifts and events for the anniversary, as well as new decorations for the Danger Room, including miniboss training.
- July: New Daily Bugle event with boss fight
- End of July: Carnage as a playable hero
- September: The Apocalypse Terminal is coming
- November: Thor content, likely in the form of a new terminal
- End of November: Odinson, the unworthy Thor, will come as a new hero with new powers. This is not a skin version, but a completely new character.
Marvel Heroes – Approach to Omega 2018
In 2018, Thanos will be a major theme and determine much of the content. Furthermore, the developers aim to implement some of the updates from Marvel Heroes Omega on PC as well.
However, the developers emphasize that they do not want to bring any of the limitations of the console version (lack of player trading, fewer item slots) to the PC. Both versions will still differ from each other.
