Mark Zuckerberg has spent a thousand hours in a strategy game on Steam – Will prove on Twitch that he is the best

Facebook founder and CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg has had a passion since his youth: video games. There is one in particular that has captivated him.

What is Mark Zuckerberg so enthusiastic about? Civilization 6, his Steam account shows according to a TikTok video from the Pubity channel, more than 1,000 hours of gameplay for this title. Overall, the entire series has been one of his favorite games since his youth, as the billionaire recounts.

He associates the older installments with some special memories that were formative for his life. Furthermore, he expresses tremendous confidence in his abilities and makes at least an implicit announcement.

Mark Zuckerberg on Twitch with Civ 7?

What does Zuckerberg have planned? Possibly with the upcoming release of the eagerly awaited next installment in the Civilization series, a new era of his Civ career is about to begin for Mark Zuckerberg. It seems he is considering creating a Twitch channel to stream play alongside – or rather against – someone:

I want to be the best Civilization player in the world. I’m pretty sure I’m close to grandmaster status and would be surprised if anyone could beat me.

Mark Zuckerberg once recounted how Dexerto describes in a detailed report about Civ, the moment he found out that he could study at Harvard. The crucial detail that impressed him, aside from the life-changing news, was that he had played the current Civilization installment at the time. The series had already inspired him during his school years to become an engineer.

For one of the core features of the strategy series has been and will also be in the upcoming installment, Civilization 7: progress and social change through technology. A concept that Zuckerberg has turned into his vocation through his engagement with Facebook and Meta.
