He received this from some of his YouTube colleagues, but he does not mention any names. The reason seems to be the survival expert’s opinion. The YouTuber states: “I have been issued a reaction ban because they don’t like my style” (via YouTube).
What does Fritz Meinecke think of the ban? Basically, the survival expert does not mind being subjected to such a ban. Because “legally”, he does not have “the basis” to watch the content (via YouTube). He further states that he would respect the decision of others and would adhere to it.
However, it seems that Fritz Meinecke finds the ban a bit exaggerated, because he further remarks:
(…) because everyone is just pampered; everyone is washed soft and then cannot even cope with someone saying something. And I know that I make a lot of enemies because of this and that some people cannot stand me for it. Well, that’s how it is, but that’s my opinion.

What basis is meant? Normally, YouTubers and Twitch streamers allow themselves to react to each other’s content. The reactor has a source of income, and the person being reacted to gains attention for their video and channel.
However, it is possible to report a copyright infringement through such a reaction on YouTube. In many cases, the reporting party succeeds, but in some cases, they do not.
There is an unwritten rule in the YouTube and Twitch bubble that no one gives someone else a so-called “strike” for a copyright infringement on the platform.
As a result, the video becomes demonetized, meaning no money can be made from it, and with repeated violations, it can lead to the closure of the channel by YouTube. The closure of a YouTube channel can pose a threat to the main source of income for some YouTubers.
