On July 23, 2025, the update “Welcome to Paradise” for Lost Ark will be released, and in many ways, the patch notes actually read like heaven on Arkesia.
What do I need to know about the new update? In order to bring the extensive update “Welcome to Paradise” to the Lost Ark servers, there will be a long maintenance period of about 10 hours on July 23, 2025. Maintenance will start at 9:00 AM. Therefore, no one will likely be able to try out the new content before tonight.
The highlights of the update include:
- A new experimental solo content called “Paradise”, consisting of a series of seasonal, weekly challenges. Through these, you can earn various rewards without the need for groups, which will help you in the progression of your heroes. Sometimes you will have to fend off waves of enemies, sometimes defeat bosses in duels, and sometimes fight through 100 levels.
- As part of the new solo content, you will earn the seasonal equipment “Legacy of Paradise”, which consists of 6 pieces and can be upgraded and modified. Through this equipment, you will also unlock special effects.
- Since many rewards from “Paradise” are character-bound, this new feature also reduces the pressure to min-max, eliminating the need to farm with various twinks for the main character to get the most out of the new content.
- With Aegir Solo, another Legion raid section is now available to all soloists with sufficiently strong gear (item level 1,660+). Additionally, some other solo content is now easier or more rewarding.
- Several events are starting to help you prepare your characters for endgame – such as the Event Power Pass, Mokoko Challenge Express, Mokoko Bootcamp, or the Growth Support Mission event. All these events provide you with additional rewards, allowing you to efficiently increase your heroes’ item level.
- The new update brings various improvements to the UI and various menu areas to make them clearer and better structured or to provide additional information. The entire achievements section will also receive an overhaul.
- The developers are introducing character-bound gold for various features to combat the illegal sale of gold for real money.
- The new update includes a free legendary skin for all players.
