The Korean MMORPG Lost Ark announces another content surge. The new class Reaper is coming at the end of September.
What type of class is this? The Reaper belongs to the base class Assassin and is fast like its counterparts Blade and Demonic. It has a high attack speed and abilities that can give it additional speed boosts.
It uses a dagger as its weapon, which it can poison to inflict additional damage-over-time effects on opponents. Its attacks receive a damage boost when performed from behind and striking the opponents in the back.
Among its abilities is shadow magic. When its identity resource “Dark Gauge” is filled in battle, the Reaper can execute the skill Persona.
This summons a shadow clone to the field and makes the Reaper invisible. The longer the Reaper remains hidden, the stronger its attacks become. One can hide, position well, and attack opponents from behind for massive damage.
Alternatively, the ability can be held back. The Dark Gauge then becomes the Chaos Gauge. When it is filled, the Reaper gains access to the Chaos Stance, which enhances it and increases its attack speed.

How often does Lost Ark get updates: The announcement of the new class and additional content for Lost Ark comes quite surprisingly. The MMORPG has received regular major updates in the past, but the latest one has not even been released yet.
Season 2 of Lost Ark starts on August 12 and brings major revisions to the loot system, new story, a continent, and many other contents, as well as a new class: The Scouter.
The Reaper is the 6th new class that Lost Ark will receive since the soft launch in late 2018. The developers are working hard on new content that they also want to release worldwide.
What is the current situation of Lost Ark?
While Korea is preparing for the release of Season 2, the first closed beta test of Lost Ark in Japan has ended, which enjoyed high participation. The date for the next test has not yet been announced.
It is known that the Japanese version of Lost Ark will start directly with the new Season 2 unlike the Russian version. This raises hopes for the European release, which according to SmileGate is expected to follow after the launch in Japan.
No approximate date for a release in the West has been announced yet, although the developers have repeatedly confirmed on social media that they are working on it.
