Lost Ark, the action MMO from South Korea, is currently in its second Closed Beta in Asia. In an impressive gameplay video, you can experience a desperate siege battle against a legion of demons.
Lost Ark is an action MMO inspired by Diablo 3. Even in the second Closed Beta, there are extremely impressive scenes from the game to see. Particularly cool is a mission where you desperately defend a fortress against a gigantic horde of demons.
The site specialized in Asia-Games, Septaru.com, has already been able to play the beta of Lost Ark extensively and showcases the demon invasion in all its glory in a gameplay video.
Fight against the demon invasion offers cinematic action
One of the coolest scenes so far from Lost Ark is the invasion of a legion of grotesque demons. Suddenly, massive behemoths burst forth from burning chasms in the ground. Dimensions rifts open up everywhere, and thousands of jumping, hopping, and crawling grotesque creatures rush out.
Your hero is all alone and must first escape the endless hordes and climb a rope to a nearby fortress wall. But there is already a state of emergency. The demons are attacking the bastion, and you must stop them!
In Lost Ark, you shoot demons with cannons
To manage the flood of enemies somewhat, you can man hefty cannons atop the walls and effectively decimate the demon horde. The heavy artillery seems to be the only way to take down the massive demon titans.
To prevent the towering giants from tearing down the walls, you first have to stun them with precise shots and then give them the rest over time. Whenever a colossus dies, it falls with a great crash.
Final battle against the demon jester
If you hold out long enough, reinforcements will finally arrive and free the fortress. After that, however, you still have to fight your way out of demon territory and slay more monsters in classic Diablo style.
Thanks to the cinematic presentation, there’s always something happening, and your journey through the wasteland is repeatedly enlivened by cool scenes. For instance, a bridge is taken down in slow motion by a colossus just as you are about to cross.
