In Lost Ark, the weekly update arrives on April 7th, bringing the smallest changes ever seen in the Thursday patches. After the roadmap announcement, many players had hoped for more. We at MeinMMO will tell you everything you need to know.
Update 12:30 PM: The servers surprisingly came back online half an hour earlier than planned. We wish you good loot!
What’s in the update? This week’s weekly update of Lost Ark is smaller than all previous ones. Nevertheless, the patch brings some bug fixes for quests and a downtime of about 4 hours, during which the server status will be offline.
Furthermore, this week’s patch only addresses minor issues and fixes the remaining remnants of the HTML bug that wreaked havoc in Lost Ark two weeks ago.

- A bug has been fixed where you could get stuck in a loading screen. If this happened, you previously had to contact support.
- Another bug that wrongly designated certain metallurgy books as Tier 3 items when exchanged with vendor Mio is now no longer existent.
- The patch also fixes some remnants of the HTML bug and removes unwanted characters that could be used in chat.
The update has been met with discontent in the community so far. The bug that shows incorrect event times since the time change in Lost Ark will not be fixed this week either. However, it was announced in last week’s patch that work is being done on it.
Last week’s patch was not well received by the fans.
How long will the maintenance last? The servers will be taken offline at 9:00 AM German time and are expected to remain offline for about 4 hours. So according to the current status, you can start again at 1:00 PM.

However, you probably shouldn’t expect a larger download with the changes, so you will likely be able to play immediately.
The first reactions from players are mixed
What do the fans say? Under the tweet announcing the update, the very first reactions to the patch notes are rather reserved. Many fans are upset that the time bug has still not been fixed.
However, many players are hopeful that next week’s patch will bring the new class, the lancer, into the game. The community is pinning its hopes on the fact that the login event will end in a week and the last major addition, the Argos raid, appeared precisely at that time. However, this has not yet been confirmed.
Others praise Amazon for improving the game, even if in small steps, every week. They argue that you can’t expect something amazing every week.
