The corresponding six heroes from the winning team of 2017 have now been determined.
LoL Championship Skins 2017
Lee “CuVee” Seong-jin is the reigning world champion in League of Legends. He won with his former team SSG (he now plays for KSV esports) as a top laner in the LoL World Championships 2017.
In his stream, CuVee published the list of the six selected champions who are to receive a special look.
- Gnar
- Jarvan IV
- Ezreal (was once played as a jungler)
- Taliyah
- Xayah
- Rakan
Riot confirmed the list of champions. The six players of KSV have already visited Riot to record the movements for the recall animation that will represent the skins in the game.
Jarvan IV and Ezreal? Again?
That the champions Jarvan IV and Ezreal were selected caused a stir among many fans. Because Jarvan IV already has a championship skin from Team Fnatic from season 1. Ezreal already has a championship skin from Team TPA from season 2. These two in-game characters will thus be the first to receive another World Championship skin.
Riot states that there are no limitations in this area and that the heroes can be selected again.
The announced World Championship skins are to be released in summer 2018.
