In League of Legends, the streamer Tyler1 was banned for a long time because he was so toxic. Now he is allowed to play again and takes the tilt test in front of his viewers during a livestream on Twitch. However, he doesn’t find Riot’s recommendations on how he should behave in LoL going forward very appealing.
Who is it about? The streamer Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp is known for his wild outbursts while playing video games. He often yells, slams his table, or freaks out within the games when things are not going well. In LoL, Tyler1 was once considered the most toxic player and was banned for a long time.
However, he has been allowed back into League of Legends for some time now and can play freely there. In one of his livestreams on Twitch, he recently did an exciting test.
What kind of test did he do? Tyler1 took the tilt test from LoL (here on riotgames.com to try it out). This is a test to find out what type of tilting player you are.
For this, you answer 16 questions measuring from “Full Disagreement” to “Full Agreement”.
This is the result: Tyler1 answered honestly in the stream about how he would act in the game. As a result, he was shown the tilt type “Paladin.” This is the option built around “Feelings of Rejection, Disappointment” and “Compulsive Control.”
Let it be good?!
This is Tyler’s reaction: “The Paladin? What kind of shit is that, man?” Then he reads out example situations that describe this tilt type. Loudly he agrees, “Yes, yes! THANK YOU! You understand me!”
But he disagrees with Riot’s solutions to his tilt behavior. As a note, the team from Riot Games writes: “Healthy Alternative: LEARN TO LET IT GO.”
In response, Tyler says, “No. I’m sorry, Riot. No. Learning to let it go? That cost me the damn game. These fucking clowns made the cloud dragon instead of the Baron?
Oh, you just spent 20 minutes in the queue and wasted 18 LP and 40 minutes of your life? Let it be good. Let it be good, buddy. Fuck you.”
Positive mindset? – Who wrote that?
After that, Tyler mockingly critiques more of Riot’s solutions. He loudly explains how ridiculous it all is. One solution he suggests: “Try the cleverest tool: a positive mindset.”
But Tyler can only respond to this solution with humor. He mimics the text with the positive mindset and shows visible disdain for this option.
What he does like is a playlist that Riot suggests to him. He wants to listen to it while gaming and see if it goes better. Tyler1 is not always a jerk. Because of this gift from a LoL team, he melts away.
The different tilt types have been introduced by Riot Games in a cool video here:
