In League of Legends the championship in the USA was held over the weekend, on September 8. The team FlyQuest, filled with players from Europe, faced Team Liquid in the finals of the US League in LoL. This will be the last championship won in the LCS.
This was the match: In the LCS, two teams dominated in 2024, FlyQuest and Team Liquid. The otherwise strong Cloud9 disappointed in 2024 and will also miss the LoL Worlds.
Team Liquid is built around the experienced South Koreans Impact and CoreJJ, who have been playing in the USA for a long time.
FlyQuest relies on Europeans, with Belgian Bwipo on the top lane and Polish Inspired in the jungle.
In the Spring Split 2024, FlyQuest was leading in the regular season, but Team Liquid won the title. In the Summer Split 2024, it was the exact opposite.

Riot Games strips the USA of its own league
Why was it the last? The LCS is being dissolved in its current form. Starting in 2025, a “Super League” will be created in North and South America. The league of the USA, the LCS, will be merged with the Brazilian league CBLOL and the Latin American league LLA. A new “Super League” will emerge.
The league will consist of 2 teams from the LLA, 6 teams from the CBLOL, and 6 teams from the LCS.
FlyQuest and Team Liquid are likely to stay, along with 4 other US teams: 100 Thieves, Cloud9, Dignitas, and Shopify Rebellion. According to new reports, Immortals and NRG will likely leave the league. However, this is not yet official.
