Just recently, developer Riot Games announced the champion update for the hero Taric. But to not only read how the new Taric plays, but also to see his abilities, the spotlight video has now been released, showcasing his new skills.

In this video, Riot not only shows dryly how the attacks work, but also employs a very special narrative style that almost resembles a Disney story. Visually, Taric would likely fit well into a cartoon like Hercules. The strengths and weaknesses of the revamped Taric are clearly highlighted. This is a significant difference from older spotlights, where the heroes simply mowed down everything and everyone.
Now that you see the abilities more in action, you may have a new picture of the rework of Taric. Personally, I find the rework very successful – it is by far no longer the old, boring playstyle. Of course, one still has to take a closer look at the numbers and values once they have tried him out in a League of Legends game.
