At an event in League of Legends hosted by MrBeast, two different poles clashed in July 2022: the LoL rage monster Tyler1 and the favorite of all mothers-in-law, Ludwig Ahgren. Since that event in 2022, Tyler1 has considered the YouTube star the worst player in LoL history. But Ludwig just wants them to be friends. The 29-year-old sneaks into a meet & greet with Tyler1 at TwitchCon 2024, of course in disguise.
What happened between Ludwig and Tyler1?
Tyler1 and Ludwig were on the same team in July 2022 at a charity event by MrBeast. LoL professionals were invited, but also some streamers who only play LoL as a hobby – and Ludwig, who considers himself a huge gamer but has no clue about LoL.
In the match, Ludwig played poorly and it seemed like he didn’t care much. He hadn’t prepared, had trouble following instructions, and generally appeared to have fun while completely failing. For Tyler1, this is an unforgivable character flaw: if you’re going to lose in LoL, you should at least suffer.
Ludwig, on the other hand, says he had two mega players on his team, Tyler1 and Doublelift, who should have won it by themselves. It can’t be that it’s all on him because he plays worse than Mizkif or Emiru. He apparently didn’t take the event seriously.
After the last match, which Tyler1 won, he publicly embarrassed Ludwig and said that Ludwig was an “absolute weakness.” He doesn’t pay attention, doesn’t follow instructions, and almost ruined the match on his own (via x).
Ludwig seeks closeness to Tyler1, but he just berates him
This is the saga so far: Although the event has long since passed and was no big deal for Ludwig, Tyler1 has since held a deep grudge against Ludwig and repeatedly insults him whenever anyone mentions Ludwig. For Tyler1, Ludwig is a “bastard”, “dog shit”, “disgusting”, and “the worst person in everything.”
For Ludwig, it is hardly bearable that someone he admires as much as Tyler1 keeps talking in streams out of nowhere about what a terrible and vile person Ludwig is.
Tyler1 criticizes everything about him, even the head movement that Ludwig makes when he dies in LoL:
In the past, Ludwig has repeatedly sought closeness to Tyler1 and even donated money to him in a stream to invite Tyler1 to an event. But the LoL rage monster has constantly blocked it.
As soon as he learns that a donation comes from Ludwig, he insults him fiercely.
Ludwig sneaks into a meet & greet with Tyler1 disguised at TwitchCon
This is Ludwig’s latest trick: At TwitchCon 2024, Ludwig sneaked near Tyler1 wearing a COVID mask and took a nice photo at a meet & greet.
But as soon as Tyler1 recognized Ludwig’s face, he yelled at him and insulted him again. He is simply “dog shit.”
Ludwig cannot understand all of this. He was just bad at LoL once. Play poorly as Fiddlesticks once and be flamed for a lifetime.
But for Tyler1, that’s simply unforgivable.
Is this to be taken seriously? Both streamers partly play theatrical figures and flirt with their image: Tyler1 as a mini-version of the Hulk, Ludwig as a clumsy theater kid and nerd who always puts on an insecure grin whenever he hears insults.
