Everyone starts small and needs to build their skills. League of Legends encourages its noobs with this video to improve.
When starting a new video game, you are initially a complete noob. Sure, there are exceptions. If you dive from one MOBA to the next, you probably already know the basics. But we have all been noobs before, and that’s okay.
The creators of League of Legends also agree. They are now encouraging their beginners not to give up right away, but to stick with it.
At first you’re bad, but then it gets fun!
Of course, you feel really stupid at first when you’re constantly dying and feeding the opponents. But it’s really not that bad. It’s just one of the thousands of matches that can lie ahead in your LoL career. And the first step towards becoming a pro!
In the video, the developers explain that you have to start somewhere. At the beginning, everyone is “trash”. But when you do something for the first time, every moment is an experience and every experience a victory. And winning is the best!
So feel comfortable in the role of the noob and enjoy the many new impressions you collect along the way. Because this is just the beginning!
Riot is employing an interesting tactic here and is not telling the community: “Be nicer to new players and not so toxic.” Instead, they are encouraging new players and giving them a perspective.
What do you think of the video?
Maybe you’ll soon be a noob again in the next Riot game. The developers want more than just League of Legends.
