In League of Legends (LoL), there is a big sleepover party this weekend. Earn points and win prizes. Here’s how the event works and how to participate.
A cozy party is taking place over the weekend in the Summoner’s Rift. Get your comfiest pajamas ready and make yourself cozy. With League of Legends’ sleepover event, you can collect points and win prizes.
When does the sleepover event take place?
- Start: Friday, March 31, at 9:00 AM
- End: Monday, April 3, at 9:00 AM
LoL: Sleepover Event – How does it work?
You need to register for the event to collect points. To earn points, you must win games with specific champions. This can only be done in the Summoner’s Rift. Points can be exchanged for prizes.
Here’s how the sleepover works in detail:
- Play in the Summoner’s Rift with one of these champions: Annie, Kog’Maw, Gnar, Alistar, Maokai, or Udyr.
- Only normal games with blind pick or draft pick count. Ranked games and other game modes do not count!
- If you win a game with one of the specified champions, you will receive 100 points.
- If you win a game in a premade group, you will receive an additional 100 points.
- From at least 600 points, players receive a Hextech chest and a key.
- There is a prize pool with special prizes. The summoners with the most points will receive the largest prizes.
What prizes are available for the sleepover event?
All players who earn at least 600 points will receive a Hextech chest. Special prizes are available for the best players.
The top 3 players will receive:
- “Tibbers” Onesie
- “Tibbers” Plush Toy
- “Tibbers” Mug
- “Dino-Gnar” Plush Toy
- All five sleepover skins: Miaukai, Definitely Not Udyr, Role Swap Annie, Moo Cow Alistar, and Dino-Gnar
The top 10 players will receive:
- “Tibbers” Onesie
- All five sleepover skins: Miaukai, Definitely Not Udyr, Role Swap Annie, Moo Cow Alistar, and Dino-Gnar
The top 100 players will receive:
- A random sleepover skin: Miaukai, Definitely Not Udyr, Role Swap Annie, Moo Cow Alistar, or Dino-Gnar
What else do you need to know about LoL’s sleepover event?
- A sleepover starts with at least one person that you play with.
- You only receive points if you have registered for the event.
- Only games via matchmaking count, not custom games and not against bots.
- The winners and total points will be announced one week after the event ends. You cannot check your points in between.
- To participate, you must be at least 13 years old and have an account on EUW or EUNE.
The sleepover event takes place all over Europe. If Europe collectively earns more than 12,000,000 points, a group XP weekend will be held on April 7.
