Four more champions from League of Legends will soon receive a Blood Moon skin. Additionally, there is a new map design in the Blood Moon style.
In the MOBA League of Legends, there are now 134 champions that can be played on maps like Summoner’s Rift. Anyone looking to customize their champions can purchase skins in the in-game shop. Some skins not only change the appearance of the characters but also the visuals of their spells and abilities.
A popular theme for the new look of champions is the Blood Moon theme. Riot has now released a teaser showing four new champion skins along with a visual update of the “Summoner’s Rift” map.
New Blood Moon Skins in LoL
In the video teaser, you can see Kalista’s Soulkeeper moving across Summoner’s Rift. The map has visually changed and showcases new colors. As seen in the video, these changes are still a work-in-progress (WIP) and not yet completed. The new map design might be available soon on the live servers.
After the Soulkeeper has explored the map, he eventually encounters four champions in the Blood Moon style. The champions are likely Diana, Jhin, Talon, and Twisted Fate.
Just a few days ago, there was already the first teaser on Twitter hinting at the Blood Moon content. Fans suspected from this image that there would be a new skin for the champion Jhin.
Blood Moon skins are popular among “League of Legends” players. The first skins on this theme were released in 2011:
- 2011 Blood Moon Shen and Blood Moon Akali
- 2014 Blood Moon Kalista
- 2015 Blood Moon Thresh, Blood Moon Elise, and Blood Moon Zilean
- 2016 Blood Moon Yasuo and Blood Moon Kennen
