The only 19-year-old Joseph Joon “Jojopyun” Pyun is considered the highest-paid player of League of Legends in North America. He has been playing professionally since November 2021 and has been with Cloud9 since 2023, but disappointed in 2024. Who is Jojopyun? Jojopyun is a mid-laner. He was, together with Danny, the highlight of the Evil Geniuses team from 2021 to 2023: The two North American teenagers surprisingly broke into the scene and won the Spring Split in the USA in 2022, which no one expected.

Jojopyun joined Cloud9 in November 2023. According to his teammate Blaber, Jojopyun is likely “one of the highest-paid players in the league.”
Content Creator says: Cloud9 has fired Jojopyun
These are now the new rumors: As the prominent content creator IWillDominate states in a video, Cloud9 is said to have fired the 19-year-old.
The reason is that he constantly arrives late to all team events, meetings, training sessions, scrims, and other commitments.
The team eventually noticed that Jojopyun was constantly late, began to keep a record of it, and terminated his contract after the 43rd delay. IWillDominate confirmed this with several sources.
IWillDominate believes that Jojopyun will never receive such a well-paid contract again like he had at Cloud9 – especially if the reputation sets in that he lacks the necessary attitude.
