There are many games with tough decisions and deep stories, but few are as firmly etched in the memories of fans as the original “Life is Strange.” This nostalgia is set to be rekindled soon, as the first part of the game will be adapted into a live-action series.

What is happening with Life is Strange? Even though the latest installment of the “Life is Strange” series has caused many controversies and has not been as well received by fans as previous entries in the game, the beginning of the series holds a special place in the community’s memory. This memory is poised to resurface, as Life is Strange is getting a real series to be released on Amazon.
What is the series about? Although not many details are known yet, it is already clear that it is an adaptation of the first title. This is by far the most popular part of the series and is still fondly remembered by many:
The young art student Max Caulfield realizes, when she unexpectedly saves her friend from death, that she can rewind time. With her new power, she discovers a dark secret in the midst of her seemingly peaceful town and is continually forced to make tough decisions. These not only determine life and death, but can have far greater impacts on the world.
How well the many decisions with their consequences, which are so prevalent in the game, can be translated into a series remains to be seen. However, Charlie Covell, who will serve as executive producer, has previously demonstrated that he can create exciting series with productions like “End of the F***king World” and “KAOS.”
When will the series be released? There is no concrete release date yet. Whether the series will ever actually be released remains to be seen. Over 9 years ago, there were already attempts to release a “Life is Strange” series. Back then, the series was ordered by Square Enix at Legendary – but nothing ever came of it.
The fact that a second attempt is now being made is at least a good sign for all fans. Because video game series produced by Amazon have had good quality at least in recent years. Especially the Fallout series stands out positively here, and it is set to enter its second season soon.
