Grief Play refers to gameplay methods that primarily aim to spoil another player’s fun using unfair tactics. This can be as simple as intentionally blocking a specific NPC to make it difficult to click on, or stealing mobs from another player (through an attack) or even using illegal hacks and cheats. Most MMORPGs have a reporting feature for such cases. Modern game designs strive to eliminate opportunities for Grief Play, for example, through shared resources or untaggable mobs.
