In Apex Legends, two new legends could soon be added. At least, that’s what a player suspects on Reddit and receives a lot of support for it.
This is the suspicion: In the Apex Legends channel on Reddit, a thread from a player is currently receiving a lot of attention. He believes that two legends, briefly shown in the gameplay trailer, are already known.
Over 1000 people agreed with the user and discussed the potential release of the legends. We present the theory to you and explain whether such a release is likely.
These legends could soon come to the game
Here’s the basis of the theory: At the beginning of the month, the developer Respawn released a gameplay trailer for Apex Legends on YouTube. At the end, two new legends were shown that could only be seen briefly and from a distance. The characters, however, were not clearly recognizable.
The Reddit user “FrozenFroh” took a closer look at these legends and explained plausibly which characters could be behind this announcement.
This is what FrozenFroh says about the left legend: According to the Reddit user, the left legend is a robotic character. He is even sure that it must be a simulacrum pilot with a red hood.
This artwork actually existed in Titanfall but was never used for the game. The Bloodhound legend also had the same fate, as it was designed for Titanfall but was introduced only to Apex Legends.
This is what FrozenFroh says about the right legend: The Reddit user also has an interesting theory about the right legend. This legend is said to already be present in the game. The character first appeared on a tapestry in an artwork of Pathfinder.
Here, you can see a Korean fighter preserved on the tapestry. The silhouette of the legend seen in the trailer actually resembles the character in the picture.
When could the legends come? Respawn has already announced that new legends will be added to the game. However, there is no release date yet. Players will have to be patient.
