Although Battlefield 6 still has many weeks until its release, leakers manage to publish new footage of upcoming maps. Another barren war landscape has now been revealed that is supposed to arrive in the shooter with Season 1.
What is this new map? The alleged new map for Battlefield 6 was revealed on Reddit by the user Fit-Support2256. It shows a wasteland with sparse landscape, burning terrain, and scattered houses. The map is supposed to be just as large, if not slightly smaller than Mirak Valley.
In the footage, the leaker shows building fights in warehouses, sprinting through containers, and trying to avoid enemy fire behind various trees. What stands out particularly is the layout of the map, as it is very open and offers little traditional cover, but the hilly terrain is your friend when it comes to quickly crossing an area unscathed.
After the video, many fans are optimistic about the new playground and are already looking forward to waging their battles on it.
New map immerses fans in a war zone
What do fans say about the new map? They are very excited about the basic layout and eager to try it out. The appearance and layout are promising, and with over 3,000 upvotes, many even agree. Here’s what can be heard on Reddit:

However, there is one thing to complain about, though it has nothing to do with the map itself, but rather with the mode that was played on it. In the leaked footage, a game of “Rush” was played and what many find negative are the spawns and the lack of vehicles.
There are hardly any opportunities to reposition strategically after a death; instead, you get shot again within seconds, and this keeps repeating. Fans like SimpleChemical5804 believe that many players think Rush has always been like this, but that is not the case. They would like to see changes that fans have been calling for for years, such as more vehicles and better spawns, otherwise the mode could quickly die out like in previous installments.
However, you should consider that this is an unconfirmed leak so far. What has been shown could therefore differ significantly from a possible release version.
It remains to be seen what maps DICE still has planned for its fans, but what the community has seen makes their hearts race.
