The upcoming shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is said to feature a game mode called “Night Mode” according to a leak. In this mode, you play the map in complete darkness, providing a completely different gaming experience. Additionally, the potentially planned killstreaks were also revealed.
What is the Night Mode? According to the well-known YouTuber TheGamingRevolution, the new installment Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will have a game mode called Night Mode. The special aspect is:
- The entire map is pitch black; you see nothing without wearing a night vision device
- With the bulky night vision device on your head, you cannot aim through the scope
- However, you have laser aiming devices that make shooting easier
- Bright lights ruin your night vision, so it should be a lot of fun to throw items like Molotov cocktails near opponents to blind them
According to TheGamingRevolution, the Night Mode will be a variant of the regular maps in Modern Warfare. However, the maps in darkness are said to play entirely differently due to the altered lighting conditions than their daytime versions.

Fun Fact: The nuke at the end is available only after 25 kills, and it is supposed to kill all players and end the game. The fact that the absurdly well-armed AC-130 aircraft comes right after the nuke in terms of value is also an amusing detail.
