In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the infamous troll streamer DrDisRespect has already caused quite a stir. It seems that the supposedly disrespectful guy is actually a really nice guy, who is brought to tears by fan praise.
Several months ago, there was a serious scandal in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The infamous streamer and professional troll DrDisRespect – a character with a porn mustache and mullet – provoked a ban from PUBG chief Brendan Greene with a live streamed player kill. This led to more trolling from DrDisRespect, who even playfully threatened Greene with a beating.
This resulted in even more beef with Greene, who did not find such threats funny, joking or not. The image that Disrespect created of himself was clearly that of an outrageous troll, who doesn’t care about the feelings of others.
However, that DrDisRespect has a soft heart behind his tough and rugged exterior is proven by the following situation.
A tough guy gets soft
In a stream, DrDisRespect was playing with a randomly selected teammate (Random) in PUBG. The teammate asked him if he was the real DrDisRespect. “No, just a big fan,” the Doc replied, not wanting to reveal his identity.
However, DrDisRespect became curious and asked further. The Random revealed that he was a big fan of the Doctor. DrDisRespect really wanted to know and said: “Well, he does annoy me sometimes.”
But the fan remained steadfast and said: “I love him!” This touched the usually rough and rude streamer deeply. He even had to leave his seat briefly to compose himself. When he returned, a few tears had even rolled under his porn glasses! A deeply moving scene that shows that seemingly trollish streamers are also just human.
