When do the legendary Pokémon arrive? The two monsters will appear during a special raid weekend. This takes place from June 12 at 8 AM local time to June 15 at 10 PM local time. You have 4 full days to challenge the monsters.
During this period, Reshiram will also remain available. You can encounter Latias and Latios in the event as shiny Pokémon.
All about the return of Latias and Latios
Are the two Pokémon worth it? The better of the two legendary Pokémon is Latios. It is among the best Dragon attackers in the game and is quite useful.
However, there are better alternatives such as Rayquaza or Salamence. Latias is slightly weaker and does not necessarily need to be included in your battle team.
Are there shiny versions? You can encounter both Pokémon as shinies, making their return worthwhile – provided you haven’t yet obtained the shiny versions of both monsters.
The rate for a shiny is usually 1 in 19. So you have a good chance of getting a coveted shiny.
How to defeat Latias and Latios? Both Pokémon are of Psychic and Dragon type. Effective types are thus Dragon, Fairy, Ice, Bug, Ghost, and Dark.

How many trainers are needed? For both Pokémon, at least 3 trainers should be used. However, this trio works quite well with the right Pokémon.
