“Death Stranding” is the new project by game designer Hideo Kojima and “The Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus.
At Sony’s press conference at E3 2016, Hideo Kojima’s appearance caused a great sensation: With a spectacular trailer, the legendary game designer presented “Death Stranding” – a game in which Norman Reedus will play a significant role. This will be Kojima’s first game after leaving Konami.
This is the E3 trailer for “Death Stranding”
Here you can watch the reveal trailer for “Death Stranding.” But beware: During the press conference, it sparked storms of excitement:
The footage shows a naked, crying Norman Reedus holding a newborn baby to his chest. However, the baby does not appear human, suddenly disappears, and splatters the hands and legs of the “The Walking Dead” star with a black, ink-like substance. As the camera captures the landscape, several figures can be seen floating in the air along with many dead fish and whales. What the game is about – currently only speculation can be made. But already the hype train is in full swing.
After Konami’s canceled horror game project “Silent Hills,” in which Reedus worked with Kojima and Guillermo del Toro, it was long uncertain whether and in what form a new project would emerge. Many fans were disappointed, as they had high hopes for this game.
However, a few months ago, Kojima tweeted a picture of himself and Reedus with the caption: Reunion with Norman Reedus.
Now we know what they are working on.
“Death Stranding” will be released for PS4.
