The developers of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 have introduced the major autumn DLC “Legacy of The Forge” with a trailer and revealed a release date.
What’s included in the DLC? “Legacy of The Forge” will be released on September 9, 2025, for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and offers the following content:
- Expand your forge: Design and expand your new forge in Kuttenberg, including a customisable room for Heinrich.
- Preserve your father’s legacy: Meet his companions and ally with like-minded individuals to revive the family craft.
- Level up as a master blacksmith and learn new designs, master difficult tasks, and rise in guild rank.
What sounds purely like craft is packaged in a story DLC, featuring similarly elaborate and fully voiced cutscenes as in the main game. The new trailer gives you a first impression of what to expect in “Legacy of The Forge”:
What’s the cost?
How do I get the DLC? The update in September is part of the expansion pass, which you can purchase for 29.99 Euros and which also includes all other DLCs. Additionally, the DLCs are included in the gold or collector’s edition of KCD2.
The DLC series will conclude in the 4th quarter with the update Mysteria Ecclesia, which will lead you on a covert mission to the Sedletz Monastery.
