They are fast, but that doesn’t mean they always win. Killing speedhackers in PUBG is surprisingly satisfying even to watch.
Have you ever played a round of PUBG and then noticed a player moving incredibly fast? Then you probably encountered a speed hacker. They use software to greatly increase their movement speed in Battlegrounds to gain an advantage over other players.
But speed isn’t everything in PUBG.
Speed Hacks in PUBG – Rare, but Annoying
The sight of speed hackers in the battle royale hit “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” is rare, but they still disrupt the gameplay. They don’t want to sneak through as winners, but rather openly flaunt their cheating when they move faster than cars on foot.
Don’t know what a speed hacker is or how they behave in PUBG? Here’s one in action:
The streamer Just9n rightly questions in the video why the system can’t just detect this increased speed. Speed hacks are not exclusive to PUBG. You could witness these hackers in classic games like Counter-Strike or Call of Duty.
Speed Hacks Are Not a Substitute for Skill
The hackers annoy PUBG players, that’s clear. However, it is all the more satisfying when the cheaters are killed despite their hacks. The streamer Shroud shows how he deals with a speed hacker.
Despite the hacker’s high speed, Shroud remains focused and takes him out. It looked pretty cool and easy. An isolated case? No. Streamer wtfmoses battles another player for the chicken dinner. An exciting fight for first place in the survival game. wtfmoses’ opponent is a speed hacker who sprints to the wrong place at the wrong time.
In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the bullets fired are still probably the fastest.
The number of PUBG players is also growing rapidly – 1 million players were now in the game at the same time
