Actually, the community thought that Twitch streamer Unge and YouTuber Julien Bam were friends, but the latest video on the YouTuber’s channel suggests otherwise. In it, he makes fun of the streamer with an insider joke.
What is this insider joke? After Unge’s ex-girlfriend made serious accusations against the YouTuber, which allegedly included abusive behavior, a controversy erupted around the former YouTuber. A controversy that Unge felt he had no choice but to defend himself on X with a second account.
This second account was named “Lurkgirly” and had a profile picture that bore the same features as the YouTuber, only in a typically female form. Under almost every critical comment directed at Unge, there was a response from this second account.
YouTuber and Twitch streamer Viktor “Vik” Roth pointed this out in his video with accusations. He provided screenshots from Unge himself showing that he had forgotten to log out of the Lurkgirly account.
This was a feast for the community and everyone jumped on the Twitch streamer to make fun of him. That Unge was indeed behind this account, he later admitted in his statement. He was also not safe from the mockery of other YouTubers and streamers, as the latest video on Julien Bam’s channel proves.
Around Twitch streamer Anni the Duck, there was also a controversy. In the video, her ex-girlfriend Reved explains how she supposedly suffered under emotional abuse in their relationship:

In his YouTube video “The Secret of the Tooth Fairy”, Julien Bam has hidden all sorts of insider jokes about the German YouTube scene. One of them undoubtedly refers to the Lurkgirly theme.
What is this scene about? The scene begins in a hospital corridor, where the tooth fairy, played by Julien Bam, discovers a figure on the floor. The figure is dressed like the profile picture of the Lurkgirly account and is sobbing on the floor.
While doing so, she tells herself that she is real. When the tooth fairy addresses her, she reveals herself as Lurkgirly and complains that no one believes she is a real girl.
The character also plays with words like “unfiltered”, “unhealthy”, and “unconditionally” in reference to the name Unge. It is clear that Julien Bam is mocking Unge here.
Why should this be surprising? Unge and Julien Bam were once YouTube colleagues who worked on joint YouTube projects, such as the longboard tour in 2014.
They traveled together with other YouTubers like Dner or Cheng from the north of Germany to the south, all on their longboards.
Additionally, the two filmed several videos together and occasionally appeared as guests on each other’s YouTube channels.
User TrochiTV noticed on Reddit: “I found it very unusual that after having understood each other very well, Ju now talks so derogatorily about a long-time friend.”
However, this did not seem to upset others in the community. It is well known that Julien Bam is not shy about making fun of his friends in his main videos. There is a long-term exchange of jabs between him and streamer Rewinside.
