Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: Everything about the release of the season
Release: When will season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen be released?
The creators of Jujutsu Kaisen announced at Anime Expo 2025 in July that the Culling Game arc is currently in production. Therefore, the Japanese dubbing is also underway, which means that part of the work on season 3 has already been completed (via X).
However, since there is still no official release date, we can assume that season 3 will not be released in 2025. You might have to expect a release in mid-2026. This means that the anime is taking a bit longer than between seasons 1 and 2, as there were only 16 months in between.
Trailer: Is there already a sneak peek at season 3?
So far, there have been no moving images of season 3. Once a video is released, you will find it here.
Episodes: How long will season 3 be?
If the upcoming season follows the first two, season 3 will have about 23-24 episodes. Unfortunately, the official number of episodes is not yet known.
Streaming Service: Where can I watch Jujutsu Kaisen?
Season 3 will likely be released by the same provider as the rest of the anime. Currently, you can watch the first two seasons of the anime on Crunchyroll. Season 1 is also available on Netflix. First, season 2 needs to be added.
Story: What happens in season 3?
The Japanese voice actors revealed the rough storyboard for the next season at Anime Expo 2025. The Shibuya Incident arc was the last to run in the anime, and it is confirmed that the Culling Game arc will also be included in season 3. This means that the following story arcs will be included:
- Itadori’s Extermination
- Perfect Preparation
- Culling Game
The grand finale, the Shinjuku Showdown arc, could then be aired as season 4, along with the rest of the Culling Game.
